JOHN BRAZILE

Studio Manager

​

    John is a 40-year-old native of Worcester, MA. He currently works as the coordinator and manager of The Honky Tonk Studio.

​

    After many years of traveling to and from Nashville, starting in 2006, he finally made the permanent move to town in 2021 with his wife and five children.

​

    You can find John most mornings playing acoustic at Rippy's but he also enjoys playing lead guitar and fronting bands at Tootsie's, Honky Tonk Central and Kid Rock's.

​

John's video equipment is on loan to the studio for use in creating reels, music videos and album cover stills.

​

BRENNAN MCGUIRE

Studio Engineer / Producer

​

    Brennan is a singer-songwriter originally from upstate New York. He currently works as the studio engineer and producer at The Honky Tonk Studio. He is well-versed in our outboard analog equipment by Warm Audio and is an excellent choice for your next project.

​

He has been engineering since 2008, having owned and operated a studio located in Hollywood, California and upstate New York.

​

    You can find Brennan most days, playing acoustic at Rippy's and in the Honky Tonk School circuit, singing country classics and rockabilly hits. You can also find him at Loretta Lynn's Ranch.

TIM C. GIBSON

Studio Producer

​

    Tim is a multi-faceted singer, musician and producer. Originally from near Philadelphia, Tim has been producing and arranging backing tracks and songs for artists since 2018. He specializes producing and arranging orchestral, rock and big band tracks, and can also create sheet music to accompany them. He currently works as a producer at

The Honky Tonk Studio. 

​

Tim has a wide range of experience in music, from growing up in symphony orchestras and musical theatre to cruise ships and Lower Broadway in Nashville. As a digital producer, he can create custom sounds tailored exactly to the clients specifications.

ROD JANZEN

House Band Leader


    Rod Janzen has been working for Honky Tonk School for about 10 years now. He has been a well-known guitar player and songwriter for years. His previous credits include: Tanya Tucker/Wylie and the Wild West in 1996, LeAnn Womack in 2000-2002, Dierks Bentley 2002-2010, along with touring for George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley and many more.

     He also played at the CMA Awards, ACM Awards, Grammy Awards, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, GMA and others! Rod now helps out new students here at the Honky Tonk School and plays in bands all over broadway and remains involved in the songwriting industry here in Nashville.

DAVID OLESON

House Band Leader

​

    Since performing with some of Nashville's biggest stars from the late 1990s and 2000s, David has been seen for the last decade playing the world famous honky tonks of downtown Nashville.

​

He is a lead guitarist specializing in rock, country, and blues. Dave has made dozens of appearances on

the Grand Ole Opry, as well as national television and radio.

DON GOODMAN

Hit Songwriter

   
Don hitchhiked from Detroit to Nashville in 1971. Since then he has had an extraordinary songwriting career.
